Reliable Laptop Connectivity

Individuals in Field Service and Maintenance in industries like HVAC, Automotive Diagnostics and Security Maintenance know that one of the key elements in servicing a machine is transmitting information to a computer to repair or update the unit.

With the flexibility of Laptops and handheld peripherals, downloading information from machinery is easy, but with Quatech's ExpressCards and PCMCIA cards, information is transmitted with faster speeds and better efficiency.

In HVAC Field Maintenance, major HVAC manufacturers have a building automation tool that requires a RS-485 serial port interface. To transfer information from the automation tool to the laptop, HVAC companies are recommended the Quatech SSP-200/300 Serial PCMCIA card which features:
