QUATECH’S PRODUCT LINES NOW AVAILABLE AT TECH DATA CORPORATION
Device networking and connectivity product lines are now available with the recent distribution agreement between the two companies
HUDSON, OHIO – January, 5, 2010 – Quatech, Inc., a division of DPAC Technologies (OTCBB: DPAC.OB), and leader in wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) networking and manufacturer of device networking and serial connectivity products and Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ GS: TECD), one of the world's largest distributors of technology products from leading IT hardware and software producers, announce a distribution agreement for Quatech’s networking and connectivity product lines. Tech Data serves more than 125,000 IT solution providers in over 100 countries. Every day, these value-added resellers depend on Tech Data to cost-effectively support the technology needs of end users, including small and medium businesses (SMB), large enterprises and government agencies.
Tech Data will inventory and distribute Quatech’s expansive device connectivity and networking product lines. Quatech’s high performance, industrial grade families provide secure connectivity and serial and parallel port expansion via many interface options including Wired and Wireless Ethernet, USB, PCI, PCI Express, Expresscard and PCMCIA. These products are used in a broad number of device connectivity applications including retail point of sale (POS), kiosks, ATM’s, test and measurement, and other industrial applications. The distribution agreement with Tech Data follows recent news of Quatech’s purchase of SocketSerial products from Socket Mobile. SocketSerial products will also be offered through Tech Data distribution.
